3 Hot Albums Of The Moment

First up is the latest release by "super producer" Timbaland. Currently coming in #5 on the Billboard 200 this week. This is a pretty hot album. stellar production, nothing less than what you would expect from him. This album touches every genre basically and has great features: Nelly Furtado, Justin Timberlake, 50 Cent, Dr. Dre, Missy,Elton John(Yeah that's right, Elton), The Hives, and Fall Out Boy just to name a few. Two other features that i found particularly interesting was one by his long time partner Magoo. The second was by his new artist Keri Hilson ( featured on the Lloyd Banks song "Help". Shorty killed the entire album. I have one question to pose to Timbaland. Whats Good with Ms. Jade?!?! Excuse my Philly bias but she is a lyrical monster. If she were still around she could have done some serious damgage to that cd.

Next up: Musiq Soulchild. Hailing from West Philadelphia, this Neo soul crooner never dissapoints with his albums. Currently at a heartbreaking #40 spot on the charts this album is still superior to many of the albums higher on the charts. Music (no pun intended) is at a low when real music is put to the back burner for catchy hooks and simple rhymes. i.e. MIMS... From beginning to end this CD lives up to its title Luvanmusiq(break it down slow ones). B.U.D.D.Y. a definite smash hit is followed by great songs like "Teach Me" and " Betterman". A song that many men can relate to is called " The Questions". Fellas listen to the song and you'll see what im talking about.

Last but not least: Young Buck. Hailing from the G-Unit camp, Buck really holds it down on this one. he proves once agin that all southern rappers don't put out bullshit. Currently at #17 on the charts Buck shows much versatility on this album. there are a few surprise features that you wouldn't expect such as Linkin Park's Chester Bennington on the track "Slow ya Roll". Another is a rastafarian anthem type song called ironically " Puff Puff Pass" featuring a Marley son Ky-mani Marley. Don't get it twisted, of course Buck forget his roots he has plenty of features with the southern heavy hitters of the game:8Ball, MJG,Young Jeezy,T.I., Bun B ,Pimp C, Trick Daddy, West coast vet Snoop Dogg, and the King of the game 50 Cent.
